Ekim 2009´da Estonyalı ve Türk dağcılar Ağrı Dağı’na tırmanacaklar.

Türkiye ´deki Estonya Büyükelçiligi Ağrı Dağı’nın fethinin 180. yılını kutlamak için Ekim´de bir dizi etkinlikler organize ediyor. Bunların en onemlilerinden biri de Estonyalı ve Türk dagcılarin Ağrı Dağı’na tırmanışıdır.

Tırmanış 5 Ekim´de başlayıp, 9 Ekim 2009´da zirveye varılacaktır. Bu tırmanış ise Estonyalı bilim adamı ve gezgin olan Johann Jakob Friedrich Wilhelm Parrot (1792–1841)´ ın zirveye ilk ulasmasından tam olarak 180 yıl sonra olacaktır. Boylelikle 9 Ekim 1829 Estonya dağcılık tarihinin bir başlangıcı olarak kabul edilir. Tırmanıştan önce, 4 Ekim 2009´da, Doğubeyazıt- Ağrı´daki Ishakpasa Sarayı´nda, Parrot´un hayatını ve işini tanıtan bir sergi açılacaktır.

Johann Jakob Friedrich Wilhelm Parrot, Tartu Üniversitesi ´nde rektör ve profesördü ve onun bu basarışı Büyük Sel sonrası Ağrı Dağı’nın tepesinde dinlenen ve incilde adi geçen efsanevi Nuh Gemisi ile olan bağlantısı yüzünden Avrupa´da fazlasıyla ilgi çekti. Professor Parrot 5000 metreden yükseğe tırmanan dünyadaki ilk kişi oldu. Bu başarı Everest Dağı´nıın 20. yuzyıldaki fethiyle karşılaştırılabilir.

Bu etkinlik Estonya Dışişleri Bakanlığı, Ağrı Valiliği, Ağrı Kültür ve Turizm Müdürlüğü , Estonya Ramblers Derneği ve birçok kuruluşlar tarafından desteklenmektedir. Serginin Küratörü Dr.Erki Tammiksaar, Tartu Merkezi Bilim Araştırmalar Başkanıdır.

Estonyali film sirketi Vesilind Parrot´un tırmanışı, serginin açılışı ve Estonyali ve Türk dağcıların yildönümü tırmanışıyla ilgili tarihi bir belgesel yapmayi planliyor.

In October 2009 Estonian and Turkish Mountain Climbers to Climb the Mountain Together.

Estonian Embassy in Turkey is organizing a joint climb of the Estonian and Turkish mountain climbers to the Ararat Mountain in order to celebrate the 180th anniversary of the conquest of the Ararat Mountain, when Jakob Friedrich Wilhelm Parrot reached the top of the mountain for the first time. The climb begins on the 5th October 2009 and it is planned to reach the top on the 9th October 2009, exactly 180 years later after Parrot reached the top. Before the climb on the 4th October 2009 an exhibition introducing Parrot’s life and work is opened in Ishakpasa stronghold in the County of Ağrı.

9 October 1829 is an important date in the history of Estonian alpinism. This was the day when Estonian scientist, rector and professor of Tartu University Johann Jakob Friedrich Wilhelm Parrot (1792–1841) was the first person to reach the top of the Ararat Mountain.

This achievement earned a lot of attention in Europe because back then the Ararat Mountain was connected with the biblical legend about Noah and his ark, which came to rest on the Mountain of Ararat after the great Flood. Professor Parrot was also the first person to conquer the mountain, which is more than 5000 meters high. This is an achievement that could be compared to the conquest of Everest in the 20th century.

The event is supported by the Estonian Foreign Ministry and by the culture and tourism directorate of the Ağrı County. The exhibition is organized and curated by Erik Tammiksaar, Eesti Matkaliit and by many others.

Film Company Vesilind is also planning to make a documentary about Parrot’s climb, about the opening of the exhibition and about the climb of the Estonian and Turkish climbers.

Käesoleva aasta oktoobris toimub Eesti ja Türgi mägimatkajate ühine tõus Araratile.

Tähistamaks Ararati vallutamise 180. aastapäeva, mil Johann Jakob Friedrich Wilhelm Parrot jõudis esimese inimesena legendaarse Ararati mäe tippu, korraldab Eesti saatkond Türgis 5. oktoobril algava Parroti retke tähistava Eesti ja Türgi mägimatkajate ühise tõusu Ararati mäele. Ararati tippu jõudmine on kavas 9. oktoobril, täpselt 180 aastat pärast Parrotit. Enne seda, 4. oktoobril 2009 avatakse aga Parroti elu ja tegevust tutvustav näitus Ishakpasa kindluses Doğubeyazıtis (Ağrı maakond).

Eesti alpinismi ajaloos on 9. oktoober 1829 oluliseks daatumiks. Just sellel päeval tõusis esimese inimesena legendaarse Ararati mäe tippu Eesti teadlane Johann Jakob Friedrich Wilhelm Parrot (1792 – 1841), Tartu Ülikooli füüsikaprofessor ja rektor.

Toonane saavutus pälvis Euroopas suurt tähelepanu, kuna Ararati mäge seostati siis ja ka praegu piiblilegendiga Noast ja tema laevast, mis maabus mäel peale ülemaailmset veeuputust. Lisaks sai prof. Parrotist tol ajal esimene inimene, kes vallutas üle 5000 meetrise mäetipu. See oli saavutus, mida võib võrrelda Everesti vallutamisega 20. sajandil.

Üritusele panevad õla alla Välisministeerium, Ağrı provintsi kultuuri- ja turismidirektoraat, näituse koostaja ja kuraator Erki Tammiksaar, Eesti Matkaliit ja paljud teised.

Parroti Araratile tõusust, näituse avamisest Ishakpasa kindluses ja Eesti-Türgi matkajate mäkketõusust on koostöös filmistuudioga Vesilind kavas teha dokumentaalfilm.

Loe mida Parrot kirjutas oma reisist Araratile!

Friedrich Parroti reisikiri “Reis Araratile” (originaalis “Reise zum Ararat”) avaldati esmakordselt 1834. a. Berliinis ning pälvis elavat huvi ja vastukaja nii Euroopas, kui ka Ameerikas. 1846. aastal, 5 aastat peale Parroti surma avaldati raamat ingliskeelsena New Yorkis pealkirjaga “Journey to Ararat” ning on tervikuna kättesaadav Google Books internetikeskkonnas. Tõlge eesti keelde on Heino Pedusaarelt ning leidis lühendatuna trükivalgust 2008. a. kultuuriajakirja Akadeemia 3. numbris. See on ka teadaolevalt seni ainus katse Parroti teost eestindada. Avaldame allpoololeva materjali Heino Pedusaare ja Akadeemia lahkel loal. Vt. F. Parrot – “Reis Araratile” (est)

Erki Tammiksaar, PhD jagab blogis ühte osa oma uurimusest Araratist ja Parrotist, mis valmib oktoobris 2009 Ishakpasa kindluses avatava näituse tarbeks. Selles toob ta esile põhjuseid, mis teevad Ararati mäe oluliseks erinevates kultuurides ja religioonides ning miks Parroti retk Araratile oli omas ajas väga tähelepanuväärne sündmus.
